Album Notes & Community Reviews
Released concurrently with his international breakout role in 'The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou', this album strips away complex orchestration for a deeply intimate acoustic sound. 'Cru' perfectly highlights the Brazilian artist's rich baritone voice, blending traditional samba rhythms with incredibly passionate, soulful modern MPB.
