Album Notes & Community Reviews

Notoriously plagued by catastrophic setbacks鈥攊ncluding the recording studio burning down and the master tapes being lost in a rental car for weeks鈥攖he Liverpudlian band's sophomore album finally saw release years after its completion. The incredibly lush, highly romantic jangle-pop songwriting perfectly marries classic 1960s psychedelia with Mick Head's remarkably poignant, bittersweet lyricism. The deeply resilient, remarkably beautiful recording stands as a highly revered, legendary lost classic of the Britpop era.
