Album Notes & Community Reviews

Ending an agonizing eleven-year wait since their previous album, the Finnish sextet reemerges as undisputed titans of the funeral doom subgenre. The glacially slow tempos are smothered under massive layers of mournful synthesizer orchestration and angelic female vocals, brilliantly contrasting the abyssal death growls. The hour-long record is an overwhelmingly dense, beautifully sorrowful monument to despair.
