Album Notes & Community Reviews

Setting an incredibly high standard for the funeral doom metal subgenre, the Finnish collective's debut is an exercise in glacial, crushing melancholy. 'Shades Of...' layers monolithic, agonizingly slow guitar riffs beneath sweeping keyboards and haunting flute arrangements, crafting an atmosphere of profound, cinematic sorrow.
