Album Notes & Community Reviews

Circulated initially strictly via underground cassette trading, Shawty Pimp's 'Still Comin Real' is a foundational, highly sought-after relic of the subterranean 90s Memphis rap scene. Unlike the aggressive horrorcore popular in the region, the production actively features surprisingly laid-back, jazz-and-soul-inflected loops paired smoothly with classic southern lyrical flows. This exceptionally lo-fi, independent release has gained immense retroactive acclaim globally as a direct blueprint for modern underground trap aesthetics.
