Album Notes & Community Reviews

Concluding their initial trilogy of studio albums, the English duo expanded their pastoral, classical-influenced sound into slightly more textured, alternative pop territory. 'Humroot' features Caroline Crawley's breathy, evocative vocals weaving through lush string arrangements and subtly rhythmic acoustic guitars. Though largely overlooked by the mainstream, the album is cherished as a hidden gem of early 90s baroque pop and dream pop.
