Album Notes & Community Reviews

Marking their eighth studio album, Niklas Kvarforth's controversial Swedish outfit continues to meticulously refine their 'suicidal black metal' blueprint. The record surprisingly eschews their traditional numbered titling convention and incorporates far more overt melodicism, clean acoustic interludes, and progressive metal guitar solos than ever before. Despite the increasingly polished musicality, the underlying atmosphere remains deeply rooted in misanthropy and psychological torment.
