Album Notes & Community Reviews

The sixth studio album from Niklas Kvarforth's notoriously provocative project continues their transition away from pure Depressive Suicidal Black Metal into a highly polished, progressive extreme metal sound. The record features intricate, bluesy acoustic guitar interludes and soaring, melodic solos that contrast violently with Kvarforth's agonizing vocal wails and bleak lyricism. It is a technically masterful, deeply unsettling exploration of self-destruction.
