Album Notes & Community Reviews

The D.I.T.C. affiliates returned with a significantly darker, more aggressively street-oriented sophomore album, stepping away from the lighter jazz-rap of their debut. Showbiz's production relies heavily on incredibly dense, murky piano samples and punishing drum breaks, perfectly underscoring A.G.'s remarkably confident, rapid-fire battle raps. It notably features critical early production contributions from DJ Premier and Lord Finesse, solidifying its status as an underground East Coast classic.
