Biography
Showbiz & A.G. are a Bronx hip hop duo formed in 1989 by producer Showbiz (Rodney Lemay) and rapper A.G. (Andre Barnes), founding members of the *D.I.T.C.* collective. Their 'Soul Clap' EP and debut album 'Runaway Slave' (1992) defined a dusty, sample-based boom bap sound, and 'Goodfellas' (1995) produced their signature track 'Next Level'. After focusing on *D.I.T.C.* and solo work, the duo returned with 'Mugshot Music' (2012) and the 'Take It Back' EP (2017).
