Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded at the Alexandra Palace in London, this expansive double album strips away much of the band's orchestral embellishments in favor of an overwhelming, core-band post-rock intensity. The monochromatic, cavernous soundscape beautifully emphasizes the ethereal bowed guitar work and falsetto vocals that define the Icelandic group's signature style.
