Album Notes & Community Reviews
Marking their first album as a trio, 'Kveikur' sees Sigur R贸s adopting a darker, heavier, and more aggressive sound. The album trades their usual ethereal float for driving percussion, distorted bass lines, and industrial textures. While still retaining J贸nsi's falsetto vocals, the music feels more grounded and urgent, capturing the volatile energy of Iceland's volcanic landscape.
