Serving as the final recording with guitarist and co-founder Joel R.L. Phelps, the Seattle-based quartet delivered their most emotionally devastating and cohesive effort. The incredibly raw, live-in-the-studio production perfectly complements the deeply pessimistic, alcohol-fueled lyrical themes. It captures a remarkably intense, interwoven dual-guitar dynamic right before the group's transition into a more streamlined power trio.
