'Young Modern' is the fifth and final studio album by the Australian rock band Silverchair. Masterminded by frontman Daniel Johns, the record completes a total departure from their post-grunge origins in favor of vibrant, sophisticated pop arrangements crafted with legendary composer Van Dyke Parks. The release achieved massive commercial success in their home country, winning five ARIA Music Awards.
