“Al final de este viaje…”

Album Notes & Community Reviews

'Al final de este viaje…' captures a foundational era of Silvio Rodríguez’s songwriting (1968-1970) through a stark production featuring only his voice and virtuoso acoustic guitar. The unadorned arrangements place focus on sophisticated, metaphorical lyrics that navigate themes of love, mortality, and political commentary, cementing the album as a cornerstone of the Nueva Trova movement. This collection presents some of his most enduring classics, including "Ojalá" and "Canción del Elegido," securing its status as an essential and highly influential work in Latin American music.
