Album Notes & Community Reviews

Representing a high-water mark for the Cuban Nueva Trova movement, this poetic collection blends introspective acoustic balladry with sophisticated orchestral arrangements. The title track, allegedly inspired by a lost piece of prose, has become one of the most beloved and enduring standards of Latin American songwriting.
