Ben Chasny's sophomore release established him as a leading figure in the 'New Weird America' movement. The album is a beautiful, deeply spiritual collection of John Fahey-inspired acoustic fingerpicking, heavily augmented by swirling tape loops, bells, and droning, raga-influenced psychedelia.
