Biography
The main project of guitarist Ben Chasny, also of *Comets on Fire* and *Rangda*, formed in Northern California in 1998. Six Organs of Admittance moves between solo acoustic fingerpicking, raga drones and full-band psychedelic folk, with key records for #Drag City# including 'School of the Flower' (2005), 'The Sun Awakens' (2006) and 'Ascent' (2012). Chasny's 'Hexadic' albums (2015) applied a self-invented compositional system to the same questing guitar language.
