Album Notes & Community Reviews

Serving as a vehicle for Swans members Michael Gira and Jarboe to explore more delicate instrumentation, this side-project heavily features acoustic guitars, piano, and string arrangements. The recording replaces their main band's crushing industrial weight with a stark, ritualistic darkwave atmosphere, dominated by Jarboe's haunting vocal delivery.
