Album Notes & Community Reviews

Pioneering the folk metal subgenre, the British group's sophomore album heavily integrates traditional Celtic instrumentation like the fiddle into a blistering thrash metal framework. Martin Walkyier's sharp, highly political lyricism uses historical and pagan imagery to deliver a scathing, poetic critique of modern capitalism and environmental destruction.
