Album Notes & Community Reviews
Preceding their later success with A Place to Bury Strangers, Oliver Ackermann and Paul Baker utilized Skywave to explore incredibly noisy, feedback-drenched indie pop. 'Echodrone' buries highly melodic, almost twee pop songwriting beneath massive, aggressive layers of lo-fi shoegaze guitar distortion.
