Album Notes & Community Reviews
Recorded in the direct aftermath of a profound personal tragedy involving Carrie Brownstein's immediate family, the veteran rock duo channels overwhelming grief into some of their most anxious and passionate material to date. Produced by John Congleton, the tight, noisy guitar interplay is infused with a stark, unmistakable sense of urgency and emotional devastation.
