Album Notes & Community Reviews

Produced by Dave Fridmann, 'The Woods' is Sleater-Kinney's heaviest, most classic-rock influenced album. The guitars are distorted and massive, channeling Led Zeppelin and The Who through a punk lens. It is a powerful, explosive statement before their long hiatus.
