Album Notes & Community Reviews

Marking a significant transition for the band, '.5: The Gray Chapter' is the first album recorded without founding members Paul Gray and Joey Jordison. The album serves as a tribute to the late bassist Gray, with its lyrical themes and somber atmosphere steeped in grief, anger, and loss. It also introduced the then-unidentified new members, bassist Alessandro Venturella and drummer Jay Weinberg, beginning a new era for Slipknot.
