Album Notes & Community Reviews

Hailed by many critics as a return to form and a creative peak, 'We Are Not Your Kind' blends the band's signature aggression with a greater emphasis on experimental textures and atmospheric arrangements. The album was recorded following the tumultuous departure of percussionist Chris Fehn, with its lyrics delving into themes of depression, societal disgust, and personal turmoil. It features some of Corey Taylor's most introspective and vulnerable vocal performances.
