Album Notes & Community Reviews
Formed initially as a supergroup featuring ex-Opeth drummer Martin Lopez, the Swedish quintet continued to refine their highly emotional, deeply polished brand of progressive metal. The album relies heavily on muscular, rhythmic riffing that acts as a driving foundation for Joel Ekel枚f's incredibly soaring, melancholic clean vocal performances. The deeply introspective record firmly established them as a highly distinct entity beyond their renowned pedigree.
