Album Notes & Community Reviews
Jay Farrar resurrects the Son Volt moniker with an entirely new lineup for the band's fourth studio album. The politically charged record features a noticeably heavier, distortion-laden country-rock sound, blending roots-oriented songwriting with ragged guitar grit inspired by early Neil Young.
