Album Notes & Community Reviews

Sticking closely to the successful blueprint of their universally acclaimed debut, Jay Farrar's alt-country outfit delivers another set of remarkably consistent, world-weary Americana. The beautifully understated, fiddle-and-steel-laced arrangements perfectly highlight his incredibly distinctive, mournful baritone and poetic observations of rural decay.
