Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded in Scotland, 'The Lioness' is a devastating, incredibly sparse masterwork of slowcore and contemporary folk. Jason Molina鈥檚 somber, poetic lyricism focuses heavily on romantic longing and depression, backed by exceptionally slow, tension-filled, and melancholic instrumentation.
