Album Notes & Community Reviews

On 'A Thousand Leaves', Sonic Youth embraces a more expansive, improvisational approach to noise rock heavily informed by post-rock and krautrock. The album is incredibly hypnotic, weaving surreal, dissonant guitar feedback into long, sprawling, and atmospheric psychedelic jams.
