Masterminded by Jazzie B, this seminal debut revolutionized the British R&B landscape by fusing deep, bass-heavy hip-hop beats with uplifting reggae sound systems and elegant soul vocals. Featuring the transcendent hits 'Keep On Movin'' and 'Back to Life' (helmed by vocalist Caron Wheeler), 'Club Classics Vol. One' essentially laid the blueprint for the 1990s neo-soul and trip-hop explosions.
