Album Notes & Community Reviews
Stepping slightly out of the direct shadow of Bruce Springsteen and Steven Van Zandt, 'The Jukes' sees the quintessential bar band asserting their own songwriting identity. The group delivers high-energy, R&B-drenched heartland rock fueled by their legendary brass section and Johnny's gritty, soulful vocals. The album perfectly captures the sweaty, exuberant spirit of the classic Jersey Shore sound.
