Album Notes & Community Reviews
Produced by Todd Rundgren and Thaddeus James Lowe, the Mael brothers' sophomore output is a frenetic collision of vaudevillian theatricality and muscular rock instrumentation. Its highly eccentric lyrical themes and rapid-fire tempo shifts struggled to find an American audience, prompting the duo's imminent and fruitful relocation to England.
