Album Notes & Community Reviews

Navigating the late-eighties commercial landscape, the eccentric Mael brothers delivered a dense, heavily synthesized pop record. While the sleek production mirrors contemporary dance-pop trends, the duo's signature lyrical wit and Russell's distinct falsetto ensure their highly idiosyncratic artistic identity remains intact.
