Album Notes & Community Reviews

Sparks returned to a band-oriented new wave format on 'Whomp That Sucker' after their Giorgio Moroder collaborations. Ron and Russell Mael retained the theatrical wit and melodic eccentricity of their earlier work while adapting it to a sharper early-1980s rock sound.
