Album Notes & Community Reviews

Representing an early milestone in Spencer Doran's discography, 'Echoplexia' is a joint album credited to Spencer Doran & Cloaks. Released via the Japanese imprint Node, the seventeen-track record blends edited organic breakbeats with lo-fi, edited band instrumentation and post-rock sensuality. The compositions avoid cold, sterile electronica templates to instead deliver a warm, witty, and deeply charming electronic-hip-hop crossover.
