Album Notes & Community Reviews
Masterminded by Argentine rock legend Luis Alberto Spinetta, this exquisite album expertly navigates the complex intersection of jazz-fusion and highly sophisticated pop music. 'Bajo Belgrano' reflects the shifting cultural atmosphere at the end of the Argentine dictatorship, marked by profoundly poetic, socially observant lyricism and pristine, intricately arranged instrumentation. The record remains an absolute pinnacle of elegance and musicality within the broader Rock Nacional movement.
