Album Notes & Community Reviews

The all-female avant-folk collective creates a deeply unsettling, ritualistic atmosphere utilizing obscure acoustic instrumentation like the mbira and spike fiddle. The compositions heavily feature haunting, dissonant vocal harmonies and hypnotic drones. It stands as a wonderfully eerie, experimental highlight of the mid-2000s New Weird America movement.
