As Lost Through Collision

Album Notes & Community Reviews

On their debut full-length, the Los Angeles quartet Sprain crafts a sound that is both crushingly heavy and painstakingly deliberate. 'As Lost Through Collision' is an exercise in tension and release, blending the sparse, melancholic pace of slowcore with the abrasive textures of noise rock and the cathartic outbursts of post-hardcore. The songs build slowly, often from near-silence to devastating, distorted climaxes, creating an atmosphere of profound anxiety and sorrow.
