Album Notes & Community Reviews

Featuring a formidable rhythm section anchored by Chick Corea and Stanley Clarke, 'Captain Marvel' seamlessly marries Stan Getz's lyrical tenor saxophone phrasing with electrified jazz fusion textures. The recording highlights fluid Latin-tinged polyrhythms and represents a successful bridging of traditional post-bop sensibilities with modern, energetic fusion.
