Album Notes & Community Reviews

Continuing their evolution away from the dense shoegaze noise of their early records, Starflyer 59 fully embraced a remarkably lush, highly atmospheric indie rock sound[cite: 1]. 'Everybody Makes Mistakes' heavily features prominent synthesizer elements and cleaner guitar tones, perfectly complimenting Jason Martin's notoriously bittersweet, deeply melancholic songwriting[cite: 1].
