Album Notes & Community Reviews

Attempting to further modernize their legendary boogie-rock formula, the veteran British act leaned heavily into slick pop-rock and AOR production values. The album prominently features synthesizers and glossy vocal harmonies, noticeably softening their characteristic heavy guitar crunch. While yielding several European hits, it polarized longtime fans who longed for the unpretentious, driving hard rock of their 1970s peak.
