Biography
Status Quo are an English rock band formed in London in 1962, led for over five decades by guitarist Francis Rossi and, until his death in 2016, Rick Parfitt. After the psychedelic hit 'Pictures of Matchstick Men' (1968), the band settled into the boogie-rock style of 'Piledriver' (1972) and 'Hello!' (1973), becoming one of Britain's most successful and longest-running live acts. Rossi continues to front the band today.
