Album Notes & Community Reviews

Serving as their debut for the Vertigo label, the British veterans definitively shed their psychedelic pop origins and established their signature, relentless heavy boogie rock sound. The self-produced record is characterized by driving, 12-bar blues progressions and a distinctly raw, live-in-the-studio energy. It birthed the classic working-class anthem 'Paper Plane' and set the template for their impending massive commercial success.
