Album Notes & Community Reviews

Collaborating directly with the legendary Del McCoury Band, the acclaimed singer-songwriter temporarily set aside his country-rock hybrid sound to record an entirely acoustic set. 'The Mountain' pays meticulous, reverent homage to the high lonesome traditions of pure bluegrass, resulting in some of his most authentic and inspired storytelling.
