Album Notes & Community Reviews
The master of the soprano saxophone led his deeply intuitive sextet through a rich, multifaceted collection of original avant-garde compositions. 'Momentum' prominently features the distinct, highly stylized vocal contributions of Irene Aebi alongside complex, interactive group improvisation. The record stands as a prime example of his unique, poetic approach to modern post-bop structures.
