Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released during a period of significant transition and recovery from a car accident, 'Rock Love' presents the Steve Miller Band stripping down to a raw, three-piece blues-rock format. The LP features a side of driving studio cuts and a side of extended live jams, reflecting their enduring connection to the San Francisco psychedelic ballroom scene. Despite poor critical reception upon release, it captures an unpolished, jam-oriented phase right before Miller's massive pop-rock reinvention.
