Album Notes & Community Reviews

Shedding the psychedelic jamming of their late-60s output, the group delivered a highly polished, laid-back effort explicitly tailored for mainstream radio consumption. The ubiquitous title track, notorious for referencing earlier personas from the band's discography, cemented the songwriter as a premier architect of breezy, blue-collar 1970s pop-rock.
