Album Notes & Community Reviews
Deeply inspired by his extensive travels and immersion in the Australian outback, Steve Roach crafted an immense, sprawling double album of profound tribal ambient music. It seamlessly blends digital synthesizers and progressive electronic sequences with ancient rhythms and Indigenous instrumentation to create a vast sense of prehistoric space. 'Dreamtime Return' is universally regarded as a meditative, soothing masterwork of modern ambient and new age music.
