Album Notes & Community Reviews
Recorded at Relight Studios in the Netherlands, 'Burning for You' sees Strawbs continuing their transition from complex folk-prog toward a more accessible, melodic rock framework. The project features lush orchestrations and the distinctive, dramatic vocal delivery of frontman Dave Cousins. While retaining certain symphonic elements, the polished songwriting reflects the changing commercial tides of late 70s British music.
